Leilanni Todd is an Executive Creative Director, filmmaker, and artist based in New York, working across fashion, film, advertising, and emerging technology. She is the creator of Floam World — an evolving cinematic universe and creative practice exploring beauty, consumer culture, identity, and adaptation in a post-flood future.
Over nearly two decades, Leilanni has shaped campaigns and creative direction for Apple, Airbnb, The New York Times, Squarespace, Puma, Nike, and Victoria Beckham, with creative leadership roles for Apple at Media Arts Lab, Droga5, Mother NY, and Squarespace. Her work has been recognized by Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, Clios, Effies, and Webbys, and featured in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, The New York Times, Wired, Fast Company, and It's Nice That.
She founded Floam World in 2022. The practice has since grown into a body of work spanning fashion editorials, short films, speculative products, and brand collaborations. She recently developed characters for the Spring/Summer 2026 campaign for Prada featuring artist Jordan Wolfson, and was hired as a creative director and AI Specialist for Darren Aronofsky's creative technology company, Primordial Soup. Her original film Everyone is Chair screened at Tribeca Festival in 2024 and exhibited at the Museum of the Moving Image.
In 2025, Leilanni received The One Show's Inaugural Creative AI Pioneer Gold Pencil, recognizing creative leadership in the emerging field of generative AI in advertising. She was selected for Google's first Sessions artist cohort and is a member of Runway's Creative Partners Program and Talent Network.
She is the inaugural Professor of Generative AI for Virtual Production at NYU Tisch's Martin Scorsese Virtual Production program, where she designed the curriculum and teaches the course defining how the next generation of filmmakers will work with this medium.
