An evolving cinematic universe by Leilanni Todd. Fashion, film, and emerging technology, set in a post-flood future.

A woman sitting in a control room with multiple monitors and control panels, reading a magazine titled 'Famous World', with dolphins jumping in the foreground and a person looking out a large porthole window at the ocean.

Floam World is an evolving cinematic universe by Leilanni Todd: a surreal, speculative future where fashion, beauty, and consumer products function as systems of survival, comfort, and self-expression.

Built across film, editorial, and speculative product, the universe uses artificial intelligence and 3D media as both the medium and creative collaborator.

β€œThe World is centered around β€˜FLOAM’ – a fictional material born from discarded ocean plastics and debris.”

What is Floam World?

A person with yellow hair and large pearl earrings looks at a manikin head with matching yellow hair, situated on a table inside a room with an oval window showing a cloudy sky and ocean.

Floam World sits somewhere between satire and possibility. The futures look strange but feel familiar. Because honestly, even at the end of the world, we'd still want to look good, laugh at something stupid, and find a small (ESCβ„’) creature to hold the rest.

What is Floam?

FLOAM refers to both the world itself and the adaptive materials within it. In this future, fashion isn't just aesthetic. It becomes flotation, protection, comfort, and emotional support as environments shift. We still need to thrive, survive and make sense of it all.

FLOAM also refers to the very specific visual taste, sense of humor, tone and layered symbolism that is very unique to Leilanni.
